The quickest way to level up characters is to simply play the game. However, there are several other ways you can level up your characters.

Leveling up your characters unlocks more Decks and skills for you to experiment and have fun with.

Battle the A.I.

On the main screen, you will often see character images that you can click. These are the A.I. that you can duel with in order to gain experience. The A.I. are usually easy to beat even for beginners.

Participate in Events

Yu-Gi-Oh! Duel Links have events you can participate in. These events are often fun compared to actual Ranked Duels. Players can take advantage of the events as they offer experience for your characters as well.

Play Against Other Players

The easiest way to level up your characters is to play against other players. Ranked Duels are harder than battling random A.I. or participating in events, so they give more experience than either.

Battling against other players requires a strong Deck in order to win. The more you win, the stronger your opponent gets so you need to make sure you are familiar with your Deck.
