List of Contents
Note: All information below is based on the Beta Version of Team Hunt and is subject to change in future updates.
1 | Earn Your Attempts Before trying out a Team Hunt, earn your attempts by spending Energy in Quests. Spending 50 Energy gets you 1 Team Hunt Attempt. Also, make sure you are part of a Team or else you won't be able to participate in a Team Hunt. |
---|---|
2 | Select the 'Team Hunt' Shortcut In the Main Menu, you will see the Team Hunt shortcut button above the Quests button. This is usually where the shortcut buttons for Events are located. |
3 | Select a Boss to Fight Make sure to coordinate with the rest of your teammates to figure out which boss to go after first. |
If your team rises through the ranks in Team Hunt, you stand to win Quartz and Team Medals. There are currently three kinds of rewards in Team Hunt: Group Ranking Rewards, Vanquish Rewards, and Boss Rewards.
Group Ranking Rewards are what you will receive once the Team Hunt ends and your Team's ranking is finalized. In the Beta Version of Team Hunt, all players will receive the same rewards.
The Special Commemorative Icon will depend on what your Team Hunt Ranking will be. The icons will be distributed after the Team Hunt Beta Version ends and the results are tallied.
Vanquish Rewards meanwhile are the rewards your Team receives after you defeat one of the bosses. The rewards vary depending on the Boss' difficulty.
Boss Rewards meanwhile are the rewards you get for using an attempt to go after a Boss. You will always get the same Boss Reward regardless of the difficulty or the damage you dealt to the Boss. But remember that you won't receive the reward if you withdraw from the Boss Battle or run out of turns.
During Boost Times, you will receive more Hunt Points that will go toward your Team's overall Hunt ranking. Boost Times are set by your Team Leader. Remember that you can't change your Team's Boost Time while a Team Hunt is ongoing.
If you want to get an idea of how tough the bosses are, you can fight them in Practice Mode. Here, your Team Hunt attempts will not be used, and you can use your characters and World Memories multiple times. But you won't gain any Team Hunt Points.
If you've fought against one of the Team Hunt bosses and earned a Hunt Point, you'll be able to send cheers to your teammates. By sending cheers, you'll earn Quartz, and they'll earn Team Medals.
You can send up to 5 cheers to 5 different teammates per day while the Team Hunt is ongoing.
Team Hunts are a game mode where you can take turns fighting bosses to deal damage to the boss and eventually take it down. To clarify: players cannot fight bosses together simultaneously, but can contribute to taking down a boss, since the boss' health bar does not reset after a fight.
The objective of Team Hunts are to defeat bosses to earn Hunt Points. The more Hunt Points you have, the higher your Team Hunt Ranking is, and the more rewards you can get.
Once you defeat one set of bosses, your Hunt Level rises, and the bosses reappear, but previously defeated bosses become progressively stronger the more they are defeated.
Once you fight a boss with your characters and World Memories, you won't be able to use them again until the day resets. So make sure to plan out which Folklore to use against which boss, and coordinate with your teammates through the Team Chat.
Also remember that the more members your Team has, the more characters and World Memories you'll be able to use during a Team Hunt day.
