Everyone gathered to see what was going on when Perseus's scream echoed through the Institute. There in front of her was a mysterious box that no one had seen before.
Ladon suddenly jumps out, and Eurystheus issues a decree to have Hercules defeat the dragon.

Land Chaco |
The Event starts off easy enough with a pack of Baum Cocoa, Aqua Max and Luminas Tuxes in the first half of the battle, and the addition of a Land Chaco in the second. Take out the Luminas Tux and the Land Chaco first when you see them on the field.
You and Perseus make your way downtown in search of Hercules. You find her, and all three of you go to look for Ladon, who you find sleeping in a jewelry store display window.
Realizing he's guarding the ornamental golden apple in the display, you buy it in order to lure Ladon.

You can focus your attacks on either the Bright Monas or the Luminas Tuxes that show up in this Battle Quest. Make sure to eliminate them quickly by turning off Auto mode and focusing on building up the Crash Skills of your heaviest-hitting Folklore.
You all succeed in drawing Ladon away from the downtown area and into the Waste Area through a large gate used for waste data.
Everyone makes their attacks, but they don't affect Ladon, who flees. Hercules says that she needs the Hydra's poison to beat it, and Andromeda replies that her contractor can help.

Dark Lizard | TC11 Skinny-B |
It's possible to take out the Dark Lizard before the TC11 Skinny-R in this battle casts its aggro skill and forces your Folklore to attack it. Bringing along a Light Element Folklore is recommended, though it's possible to kill it with a different party set up as long as your party is above Level 30.
While chasing Ladon, Eurystheus acts strangely, so you persuade her to open up. It turns out she had buried a box full of her whining
, and that whining had manifested into Ladon.
Just when the group is dumbfounded, Andromeda arrives to deliver Hydra's poison.

Ladon |
Ladon is a Level 24 Water element enemy that can debuff your party's attack and defense while increasing his own defense. He also has a skill that does heavy damage to two of your Folklore.
We recommend you to bring along a party consisting of mostly Earth element Folklore with high-damage attacks like Cleopatra and Lancelot to take him down. Going off Auto Mode is also recommended so you can focus on building up their Crash Skills and deal more damage.
By using Hydra's poison, Ladon was successfully defeated. Eurystheus is pushed by the group into thanking Hercules.
Seeing this, Perseus smiles at how precious their grandchild is. Just then, Neu calls saying that another box was found...

Ladon |
If you had a hard time beating Ladon in Normal Mode, you won't like him here in Hard Mode either. Here, Ladon is Level 50 and will not hesitate using his skill to take out two of your Folklore in the second turn of the battle. Unless you outlevel him, put your heaviest-hitting Folklore as sub-members so they can be safe from his one-shot attack.
Aside from that, bringing along a party of mostly Earth element Folklore is ideal to take him down.
Note: These characters are highly effective in this Chapter, but are not necessary to clear the story. If you can manage to get any of these characters, particularly the 3★ characters, your team will be significantly more capable.
Character | Element | Role | |
---|---|---|---|
Lancelot
★★★ |
Atk/Phys |
Attacker • Very High Phys/Earth DPS. • Her first Active Skill boosts her Phys. Atk, while her second Active Skill makes her stronger against Buff-type enemies. • Her Passive Skill boosts her Phys. Atk if there are 3 or more Earth allies on the field with her. • Best option vs. Water and Defense type enemies. |
|
Qin Shi Huang
★★★ |
Debuff/Phys |
• High single target Phys./Earth DPS. • Has a Crash Skill and Active Skill that Debuff an enemy's Phys. Def. • His second Active Skill boosts his own Phys. Atk and makes enemies receive more damage. • His Passive Skill decreases his Quest-related enemy's Phys. Atk but activates only when there are 2 or more Earth element allies in his party. |
|
Cleopatra
★★ |
Atk/Spec |
Crowd Control • Deals high Spec/Earth DPS to 4 enemies. • Can buff self and 1 other Ally with Water-Slayer ability. • Can absorb her own panels to buff Spec. Atk. |
|
Perseus
★★ |
Defense/Phys |
Tank • Can provoke enemy attacks for 3 turns and put up a barrier that blocks a certain amount of damage. • Can remove Defense debuffs on self and buff Spec. Def. |
|
Asclepius
★★★ |
Rec/Spec |
Support • Can heal the entire party with her Active Skill. • Decent Spec/Wood DPS. • Can remove Attack and Defense debuffs. • Passive boosts Healing when there are more than 4 enemies. |
Neu
★ |
Atk/Phys |
Attacker • All-around damage dealer capable of hitting two enemies at once. • Her first Active Skill allows her to get Crash Skill panels in battle quickly, meaning she can deal more damage to groups of foes. • Her second Active Skill lengthens the time for Attack Mode, which gives you more time to break more panels and unlock more Crash Skills. |
Every time you beat the dragon Ladon in the Mysterious Greek Box Event, you earn Victory Logs which you can trade in for rewards. These include Animas for Perseus and Asclepius, as well as Pandora's Box, a World Memory that's only available through this event.
Just like with Main Quests, you can also complete missions in the Mysterious Greek Box event to earn rewards such as Victory Logs, Player XP, and more!
The new event also comes with two new Folklore: Eurystheus, a dedicated anti-Water Earth element unit, and Hercules, a Defense-type Earth element unit. Both come with their own strengths and weaknesses, so make sure to draw for them through the Featured Gacha banner!
There are also two new World Memories to go along with the new Folklore! These are 'The King's Dilemma' and 'The Beloved Hero'. Get them through the Featured World Memory Gacha banner!
Bringing along Perseus, Andromeda, or Neu on event-related Quests will boost their Bond Level experience gain by 50%.
This means you can bring them on Quests here to farm their Bond XP and gain their Quartz rewards and unlock their Bond-related stories more quickly.
