Complete Quests with a 3★ Rating

Each Main Quest has First Clear rewards and 3★ Clear rewards listed under the Clear Bonus section. Both of these clear rewards can only be received once, but the 3★ Clear reward is always Quartz, so it's recommended to aim for a high rating in each new Chapter to maximize your Quartz gained.

If you don't get the 3★ reward the first time clearing the mission, you can get it by scoring higher on a later attempt, but at the cost of spending energy on the same Quest twice.

Complete Missions

Clearing Missions often rewards you with Quartz as well as other resources you can use for leveling up your team. If you clear an entire page of Newbie Missions, you can get a reward of 3000 Quartz, which is enough for 10 draws in the Folklore or World Memory Gachas.

Raise Folklore Bond Levels

Every time you raise a Folklore's Bond Level you will receive Quartz as a reward. Normally you'll receive 20 Quartz, however at certain Bond Level thresholds a scene will take place with the Folklore, and you'll receive 100 Quartz instead.

How to Raise Bond Levels

Collect Rank Up Bonus Rewards

Every 5 Ranks you can receive Quartz as a reward via the Shop for free. From the main menu, select Shop and then Rank Up Bonus. Here you'll see a list of Quartz rewards you have earned by ranking up.

There are also premium Rank Up Bonus rewards available via this same menu if you are willing to buy them.

Buy Quartz From the Shop

For players that want to progress quickly, you can purchase Quartz directly from the Shop. If you're comfortable spending a bit, you can get more characters or World Memories for your team, or gain Anima to ascend your Folklore and make them more powerful.
