The first thing you want to do after logging in is to draw from the free Gachas available. These are the Free Gacha and Normal Gacha.
The Free Gacha lets you draw one Folklore for free, while the Normal Gacha gives you ten Expansion Items to make your current Folklore stronger. These are available daily, so make sure to use them up to maximize your gains.
How Does the Gacha System Work
After drawing free gachas, you might want to use your Expansion Items to make your Folklore stronger. You can level them up, increase their Grade or Rarity, or just level up their individual skills.
If you want to upgrade a Folklore's skills, grade, and level all at once, you can use the 'Optimize' button in the Character Menu.
Missions in ALICE Fiction are tasks you can complete to earn rewards such as Credits, Free Quartz, Experience Points, and even Energy. The missions can vary from logging in within a certain time frame to completing a certain quest in the story.
There are three types of Missions in ALICE Fiction: Newbie Missions, Daily Missions, and Normal Missions.
Daily and Normal Missions are similar to each other in format as they are a continuous stream of tasks you can do for rewards. Newbie Missions, on the other hand, come in sets of nine missions that, once completed, give you an even bigger reward.
Progressing the story is important early on in ALICE Fiction, as it teaches players the game's core concepts as well as unlocks new game modes like Resource Quests, The Underground, and Battle Arena.
Completing certain quests in the story is also important to unlock ways to upgrade your Folklore (like Grading Up and Ascension).
If there is a certain Folklore you want to get, or you want to increase the rarity of your current Folklore through Ascension, you can take on a Hard Quest to earn that Folklore's Anima Medal.
Hard Quests also give out Expansion Items while providing EXP to your Folklore, making them stronger.
If you're running out of Battle Records to level up your party members, or Credits to increase their Grade, you can send your Folklore out to do Resource Quests.
Resource Quests give good amounts of Battle Records and Credits, depending on the kind of Quest you choose.
If you're in a Team, don't forget to deliver items for Contribution Points and Team Medals. You can use Contribution Points to enhance your Hack Stats, and trade Team Medals at the Exchange for animas and expansion items.
If you want to test your mettle, try going into one of the Underground Zones. There, you'll win credits and Underground Medals you can exchange for animas and expansion items as well.
From September 5 to September 13, 2022, after using a certain amount of energy you can get Energy Rewards. These rewards include items like Battle Records, Memory Keys, and even Quartz. Energy rewards unlock daily, so make sure to log in every day and hit your energy targets.
Energy in ALICE Fiction determines how many Quests you can go on per day. Your maximum Energy increases as you rank up so try to rank up quickly so you can take on more Quests. Running out of Energy for the day however means you will have to wait before you can go on quests again.
We recommend you use your Energy to progress the story first to unlock more of the game's features. Then complete Daily Missions to get more Energy. Remember, there are Missions that do not require any Energy use (such as upgrading your characters).
If you want to do more quests but don't want to wait until your Energy refills, you can buy energy from ALICE Fiction's Shop, or buy one of the game's multiple Packs.
