Ting-Lu's Vessel of Ruin Ability lowers the Special Attack stat of all Pokemon in the field, which makes it a great Pokemon to use in Tera Raids against raid bosses that use special attacks but not with allies who use special moves.

This build centralizes on using Earthquake as the main attack, which can hit even harder once it Terastallizes into a Ground Tera Type.

Clodsire is a tanky Pokemon capable of taking hits from raid bosses. Its immunity to Poison-type moves protects it from being poisoned.

Earthquake allows it to deal damage which can be improved once it Terastallizes into a Ground-type, while it can use its other moves to debilitate the opposing raid Pokemon or recover its own health.

Best Tera Type for Ground-type Pokemon

Ground Tera Type

Ground-type Pokemon can take advantage of Terastallizing to their own type to boost the power of Ground-type moves, like Earthquake for physical attackers and Earth Power of special attackers

Terastallizing into Ground will also help them lose their second typing which removes weaknesses from that type.

Rock Tera Type

Most Ground-type Pokemon are also attuned in using Rock-type moves, so it is also viable to Terastallize them into a Rock-type. This will not remove their weakness to Grass and Water-type moves, but it will boost the power of Rock-type moves.

You can change your Pokemon's Tera Type to Rock with Rock Tera Shards.

Water Tera Type

For a more defensive Tera Type, Ground-type Pokemon can opt to have a Water Tera Type. This will allow them to safely receive common Water-type moves like Surf or Hydro Pump from your opponents.

You can change your Pokemon's Tera Type to Water with Water Tera Shards.

Grass Tera Type

Another weakness for Ground-type Pokemon are Grass-type moves, so it is also ideal to change their Tera Type into Grass to allow them to take these kind of attacks.

You can change your Pokemon's Tera Type to Grass with Grass Tera Shards.
